The broadcast
Every game is broadcast at its starting time, in real time: a 2D rink with the players and the puck, the scoreboard with the clock, shots and penalties, and a running commentary. The broadcast opens 10 minutes before the start, and with intermissions of 15 minutes a game takes about one and three-quarter to two hours.
You can join at any time. The broadcast catches you up to the current moment and goes on live from there.
The commentator
Each series has its own commentators, each with a style of their own: from the calm professional and the excitable fan to the philosopher, the old coach and the wide-eyed rookie. One of them calls each game, in the language you have chosen: goals, saves and penalties, with the quiet moments filled with what they know about the teams and players.
The match report
When the broadcast is over, the game's page becomes its report: the goals and penalties period by period, team statistics, both teams' players with their statistics and game ratings, and the lineups that played.
Replays
A finished game can be watched again for 30 days. After that the report, the statistics and the goals and penalties are kept for good.
No spoilers
A result exists before the broadcast, but you only see it when the broadcast gets there. League tables, statistics, the team rating and your fans' mood all wait until a game's broadcast has ended, so watching later never spoils anything.
